Margaret Mullane MP sent her congratulations to students across Dagenham and Rainham receiving their A level, AS and Vocational and Technical Qualification (VTQ) results today.

Margaret said “I want to congratulate all students and their teachers on their results achieved. The wait for the results is always a nervous time and comes after the completion of years of study at schools and sixth form college.

I wish all the students across Dagenham and Rainham well for their future, whether that be on to university, apprenticeships or straight into the world of work. This is an exciting point in time for young people, I want to play my part in making sure that Britain’s economy is in better shape so that local young people can have thriving futures.”

There will be support available for students to discuss their next steps. For those who have studied at school or college, their teachers will be on hand to help give advice and guidance. The new Skills for Careers website provides free and impartial careers advice, information and guidance. In addition, the National Careers Service also runs a dedicated exam results helpline for all students taking qualifications.
