Margaret Mullane, The Labour Party Prospective Parliamentary Candidate, was recently contacted by the Park Rangers Team at LBBD Council in regard to upcoming Rangers Events and their 2024 Wild & Free Competition.
There are a range of events this Summer hosted by the Park Rangers Team, including:
Tues 14 May – Teen Forest School for Home-Schoolers – led by TindersSticks (first of a series of monthly sessions)
Mon 20 May – Bumblebee ID workshop for beginners – led by Bumblebee Conservation Trust (happening on World Bee Day!)
Weds 29 May – Bark in the Park – dog-themed family fun day at Eastbrookend Country Park
Sat 15 June – Eastbrookend Eco-Fair for Great Big Green Week
Mon 17 June – Bee Blitz Recorders Day at Eastbrookend & the Chase LNR
Weds 31 July – Bee & Butterfly Bonanza – family fun day at Eastbrookend Country Park
Weds 21 Aug – Teddy Bear’s Picnic - family fun day at Eastbrookend Country Park
Sat 21 Sept – Family Bushcraft session – led by TinderSticks
