The March for the Children of Ukraine is taking place on Sunday, 1 June, to mark International Children's Day.
This vital demonstration is called by an inspiring coalition of the labour movement and the Ukrainian community, to raise awareness of the plight of the thousands of Ukrainian children abducted by Russia.
It is supported by a coalition that includes the Ukraine Solidarity Campaign, President Zelensky's initiative Bring Kids Back , the Trade Union Congress, civil society organizations, and progressive Ukrainian community groups. Organisations such as Save Ukraine, which rescue and rehabilitate abducted children, are also supporting this demonstration.
The campaign demands the immediate return of Ukrainian children forcibly abducted by Russia. Since the onset of the invasion, over 19,546 children have been abducted, and a staggering 1.6 million Ukrainian children have had their lives stolen—either trapped in occupied territories or forcibly taken to Russia.
On Sunday June 1st 2025, participants are to assemble at Marble Arch at 1:00pm and walk to Parliament Square by 3:00pm where there will be various speakers.
