Morrisons staff and store Christmas cheer to children living in temporary accommodation

Dagenham Heath ward councillors, Ingrid Robinson and Harriet Spoor, joined Labour MP, Margaret Mullane, in praising and thanking the Dagenham Morrisons store manager Mohammed Alam and the staff, with special mention to Kerry, for their generosity in donating gifts for children living in temporary accommodation

Ingrid and Harriet are taking the gifts for the children to the Butler Court hostel in their Heath ward on Friday 20 December.

Margaret said “This is a wonderful act of generosity by Morrisons and its staff at the Dagenham store. The children and families in Butler Court have had to endure the trauma of being made homeless and are now facing a Christmas in a hostel.

I hope that in a small way the toys and other gifts that Ingrid and Harriet will be delivering will help them to celebrate Christmas. I also really hope that these families will be able to move into permanent accommodation as quickly as possible.”
