More food to be rescued from farms!

I am pleased to announce FareShare and The Felix Project will receive £9.2 million after the government announced in December funding to support the redistribution of food, which would otherwise go to waste, from farms to help families facing food insecurity.  

In Dagenham and Rainham last year, FareShare and The Felix Project were responsible for delivering 265,806 meal equivalents via 12 charities, and this scheme will enable the charities to have a greater impact.  

They are outstanding organisations, and I want to thank them for all the work they do.
