Asda to launch new food drive initiative

In partnership with Trussell, Adsa will be encouraging customers across their large stores to donate an extra item to help food banks in the Trussell community support people experiencing financial hardship. 

In previous years, the generosity of residents in Dagenham and Rainham has been crucial to the success of this initiative. It is for this reason that I am proud to offer my support, and eager to see this same generosity repeated.

From 13th to 15th June @asda will be holding a food drive supported by @TrussellUK. Volunteers will be collecting in store and more information is available here: https://www.trussell.org.uk/support-us/become-a-partner/our-partners/asda

Asda has been working with Trussell since 2018 and has provided 1.4 million people with fresh food, along with £5.7 million in grants to Trussell’s community of more than 200 food banks.
